Brother Jude said we have to contend for this faith. God has given to everyman the measure of faith. This faith was what Jesus showed with His walk on the earth and eventually purchased it with His own blood on the cross.
By the reason of His resurrection, pave way for an advance inauguration of the faith of the Son. No man had ever seen that kind of faith before that time, for it is no longer the faith to get things. Undoubtedly, this faith is the revelation of the righteousness of God which is the instrument of our glorification. Paul was able to spell it
We are entrusted
with this faith which is a tool in the hand of God to carve His Son Jesus Christ
into our personality that is our soul. The essence is that we should live just
like His Son and is important we know that the plan of the adversary is to
raise men to disobey faith which is capable of bringing men into sonship. The
operation of the faith of the Son is not just the popular faith towards God to
get things but is in giving life, life eternal.
To them who by
patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life. Romans 2:7. It is in giving the very substance of God;
Christ in us the hope of glory. Is pretty easy to have faith towards God, -the
believing faith to receive the hand blessings of God than to earnestly contend
for the faith of the Son which brings the salvation of our souls. Having the
faith to receive miracle is not enough. We must press on to receive all the
inclusive revelation of the word of righteousness to gain great stature in the
Spirit and to annihilate the weaponry of death programme. If there is anything
to contend for in this present time is the eternal faith entrusted us. Allow
faith and the effective work of grace in you to resist the adversary even to
the shedding of blood. Hence, contending for the faith is equally the pathway
of sonship. May the good Lord give us understanding Amen.

However, the sentiment, the conviction, and the commitment stay strong for our Creator and Blessed Sovereign Lord in the vivid Presence and Guidance of His Holy Spirit! Wow! Contending for the Faith of the Son!!! How timely! This is indeed a sure word of prophecy for our times! Am so glad I bumped into this old article you posted since February!
