THE FIRST THING YOU MUST LOOK OUT FOR IN YOUR RELATIONSHIP

Good looks or being cute or fine do not make a person good. If you get hung up on looks, this can stop you from seeing the real person on inside. Remember many pretty ladies or handsome guys have no character.


We must come to relate most of all because we may find out things about people you never knew and we may cause someone to bring out treasures even they did not know they possessed simply by being a friend and talking to them.


In some cases, the Church is where people try to match YOU UP. Some people will start hollering marriage the first time they see you with someone. That should not make us conclude with them to raise our hope until infatuation paints our eyes black not to see when to bring out the best in that person in deed and character wise.

 Emotion and feeling may devalue our good sight to see what the real beauty in a person is. Believers who walk by the Spirit must seek for what is deeper than skin beauty and body frame. The real man is not altogether constituted on the outside but on the inside, you need to look for enduring character and beauty beyond the skin deep. Isaiah 11:3. Since everyone is different in thumbprints, so is everyone different in character and virtue. It is not enough then, to just conclude all that come our way for marital relationship. You're to know the mind of God on who will finally emerge as your partner. And like you know friend, books are not to be judged by their cover. Which means, during friendship, your friend could have shown you only the cover. Some people have beautiful covers but poor content and vice-versa. It's very important therefore, to read him or her thoroughly by the spirit and know how exactly you would ascertain what you read.

Finally, God's factor must the highest delight of every man and woman at the point of encounter. Hence, the first thing you must look out for in your relationship must be the wholesomeness of God's factor; not even your intellectual factors, your idols or the traditions passed down from men (see Ezekiel 14:4). This is how to meet true love.
